5 Tight End Streamers (Week 4)

Aside from Jesse James being garbage last week and the injury to Jared Cook, the streamers did fairly well. This week I've got more options and ones that are extremely sneaky.

Zach Miller

He may have been dropped in your league but last week he put up a great performance. If you streamed him then you must have been pretty stoked about the production you got. Now I am not one to overreact to one good game but Miller is a veteran who understands the game. He isn't that great athletically but he gets open and this week he gets a matchup against our favorite TE targets... the Detroit Lions.

Kyle Rudolph

Sam Bradford loves throwing to his Tight Ends. They're big targets and that's where he threw to a lot last year with the Eagles. After 2 weeks with Bradford at center, Rudolph has gotten a touchdown in each game. Rudolph should continue to produce decent numbers because this Vikings offense looks much better now than it ever did with Bridgewater. Rest in peace Teddy.

Hunter Henry

There are reports suggesting that Antonio Gates will miss week 4 because he wasn't even close to returning this past Sunday. Henry got a lot of work against the Colts produced a decent outing in PPR formats. If you can't grab any of the options above then roll the dice on Henry who will likely be in a shootout against the Saints. However, f Gates suits up then don't even bother with the rookie.

Jack Doyle

The Colts defense is bad. Really really bad! But who's surprised? Andrew Luck is going to carry this team on his back until he breaks it... Then he will continue to carry it. Last week the Colts lost Donte Moncrief and it looks like they are filling the void by getting the Tight Ends more involved. This past Sunday Doyle was serviceable in PPR leagues and after what we saw Pitta do to the Jaguars in week 2, I am confident Doyle will be safe to use this week.

Garrett Celek/Vance McDonald

I dug down really really deep into the barrel for this one. Vance McDonald left the game this past Sunday due to a hip injury. Garrett Celek was also spotted at practice in a non contact jersey. It is very possible that one of these TEs will be out for week 4 and so far this year McDonald and Garrett Celek have played a similar number of snaps making it difficult to trust either one. If McDonald or Celek are ruled out then you can feel extremely confident using the remaining TE in a matchup against the Cowboys who gave up 2 touchdowns to Zach Miller on Sunday night!
