4 Tight End Streamers (Week 3)

Last week was a pretty solid week for Tight End streamers and if Virgil Green didn't get hurt, you may have gotten an even better performance out of him. Let's keep it rolling onto week 3.

Dennis Pitta

After the performance he had last week you'd think he would be higher owned but he is still surprisingly available in more than half of fantasy leagues. He led the team with targets last week and had over 100 yards receiving and 9 catches. That is insane and he is very involved in that offense. Grab him now and consider using him for the rest of season.

Jared Cook

So far this year the Packers Tight End has been anything but good so it may come as a surprise that he is on this list but if there was a week for the Packers offense to get it together it will be this one. The Lions have been in nothing but shootouts this year and the Packers defense will not change that this week. I expect Aaron Rodgers to throw a lot which is what you want out of a tight end stream but that isn't the only appealing factor. Through 2 weeks the Lions have given up the most fantasy points to opposing Tight Ends. Cook is bad but there is no better opportunity for him.

Jesse James

So far this season there has been one man playing at Tight End for the Steelers and that's Jesse James. No seriously. James has played 100% of the Tight End snaps for the Steelers so far this season. He gets a fair number of targets in that offense and has redzone opportunities as well. As long as Ladarius Green is out, James is start-worthy.

Zach Miller

It's very possible that someone was fed up with Zach Miller and dropped him in your league. If you need a TE to stream badly I believe Miller has a decent chance to produce for you. He isn't my favorite option out out of the rest on this list but he will be facing the Cowboys awful defense and he is the only competent receiver on the Bears aside from Alshon Jeffery.
