3 Tight End Streamers (Week 2)

If you started any of the Tight Ends I suggested last week you probably got by with a decent output. Now that we have a small idea of what teams want to do, the streamers this week should perform even better than the last.

Dennis Pitta

I was a little shocked this past week to see that Dennis Pitta actually started and led the position with 56 offensive snaps. Crockett Gillmore only played 30 offensive snaps so it is apparent that the Ravens trust Pitta and he is healthy enough to play a majority of the game. Pitta will be facing a Browns defense that allowed 58 yards and 6 catches to Zach Ertz the previous week. Pitta should get plenty of opportunities to produce for your team.

Virgil Green

Even in a tough matchup against the Panthers last week he proved that he is a factor in that offense. Virgil Green also showed playmaking ability and speed in the open field against one of the better defenses in the NFL. Green also had an opportunity for a touchdown when he was left wide open in the end zone but the pass was tipped at the line. If Green had scored then he would not be on my streamers list and probably would have been picked up by someone else already. Grab Green now while you can and use him this week against a terrible Colts defense that allowed Eric Ebron to dominate last week.

Jesse James

The large tight end proved on Monday night that he is a focal point of this offense for now. He had 5 catches on 7 targets for 31 yards and although the yards aren't anything to be excited about, it is serviceable in PPR leagues. James also had a few redzone targets and a target that could have been a touchdown if Big Ben threw a more accurate pass. James is still a good streaming option this week.
