3 Tight End Streamers (Week 11)

One top play. One middling play. One desperation play. Welcome to the world of Tight End Streaming.

Julius Thomas

People love name value in fantasy football. It seems like that is the last thing they'll let go of before they admit to themselves that this isn't a player they should be holding. It seems like fantasy players have let go of that name value because ownership percentages for Julius Thomas have dropped significantly. That means you have to take advantage because this week he faces the Lions. We should all know by now that Detroit is a plus matchup for Tight Ends and that makes Thomas the stream of the week.

Will Tye

Larry Donnell is no longer relevant. He logged 0 offensive snaps and that gave Tye plenty of time on the field. The Giants are home to the Bears so the matchup is decent but the real reason I like him this week is because he is playing a majority of the snaps and that should give him a safe floor. If he scores a touchdown then you are golden and that's all you can really ask of a Tight End nowadays.

Lance Kendricks

This play is a bit of a shot in the dark. Kendricks has been heavily involved up until last week when Jeff Fisher "gameflow," prioritized an even more conservative offense than usual due to the matchup against Bryce Petty. This week the Rams will have a tougher test against an elite offensive line. Rookie Jared Goff will draw the start and like most rookie Quarterbacks, he will target his Tight End. Kendricks is a reasonable play in PPR leagues if you are truly desperate.
