Week 9 Waiver Wire Running Backs

So much drama with Running Backs this year but I've got you covered.

Charcandrick West

Jamaal Charles is still having issues with his knee and Spencer Ware left the game early on Sunday with a concussion. The Chiefs also traded Knile Davis to the Packers so West is the last man standing and will get a big workload in week 9 if Ware is ruled out.

C.J. Prosise

The Seahawks have a new pass catching running back and he must be owned in PPR leagues. After starting off the season with a broken hand, Prosise returned on Sunday and recorded 4 carries for 23 yards on the ground along with 4 catches for 80 yards through the air!

Tim Hightower

This is more of a speculative add but it is one worth making. The Saints benched Mark Ingram for fumbling against the Seahawks and he never returned to the game. The Saints may still go back to Ingram next week but we won't really know for sure until we see it. Hightower is worth a stash because Ingram may very well be in the dog house.

Antone Smith

Doug Martin and Jacquizz Rodgers are expected to miss their matchup in week 9 and the Bucs weren't shy about using Antone after Rodgers went down with his injury. The matchup isn't the greatest but we already saw what Rodgers could do with a full workload and Smith will be usable if you are in a tight spot.

Mike Gillislee

Rex Ryan suggested that the Bills would use a 3 running back rotation against the Patriots last Sunday which just wasn't the case. It was mostly Gillislee and he looked great! If LeSean McCoy were to miss another game this week then you can roll out Gillislee against the Seahawks and get decent production.
