Week 6 Waiver Wire Wide Receivers

This week is all about the Wide Receivers and we've definitely got some nice gems to snag.

Cameron Meredith

Before I talk about my first player I'd like to have a moment of silence for the fallen first rounder Kevin White... Rest in peace... Okay moving on now. If you follow me on Twitter then you may have seen me tweet that Cameron Meredith was a great start on Sunday. A lot of you did start him and the feedback I got from you was beautiful but the talent of Meredith is even more beautiful. His touchdown catch came on a sick double move. You can see the beautiful move at the end of this video after the Jordan Howard run. Meredith will start for the remainder of the season along side Alshon Jeffery and there will be plenty of targets to go around. Meredith is the top priority of the week.

Sammie Coates

The Steelers know how they want to run their offense and it didn't take long for them to replace Martavis Bryant. We saw Coates struggle early on this year but he's now finally starting to get hot. He isn't a must start every single week because he is dependent on the big play but there should be plenty of those to go around in this offense. Coates still shows inconsistency catching the ball but he is the most talented receiver on the team behind Antonio Brown so he is worthy of flex consideration most weeks.

Chris Hogan

During the return of Tom Brady we saw a completely different offense than what we've seen with Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brisset. The play calling was much more aggressive and fun to watch. Hogan emerged as the deep threat for New England and he is worth an add. While I don't believe he is a weekly starter, he is a good spot start depending on the matchup. It has been a while since Brady has had a true deep threat so Hogan is interesting and should be rostered in all leagues.

Davante Adams

I can't believe this guy is on my list. I hate this player so much but he's getting a lot of playing time and that's worth something. He scored a touchdown against the Giants Sunday night. The problem with Adams is that he makes a lot of mental errors. He drops a lot of easy catches that need to be made and the offense would serve better with a deep threat that can take the top off defenses. Regardless of how much I dislike this player, he is playing a lot and that's worth something in fantasy. I hope Jeff Janis gets a shot soon, he's exactly what the Packers need. *sigh*
