Last week there weren't many decent options to stream but they ended with fair outings. This week sets up a lot better and we've got a couple nice options with high floors.
The Steelers picked it up last week and reminded everyone that Alex Smith and Andy Reid are just so conservative. The Steelers will face Ryan Fitzpatrick in week 5 and he is the complete opposite of Alex Smith. Fitzpatrick just doesn't give a fuck! He will force throws into windows that he shouldn't be throwing to and he will take unnecessary hits because he thinks he's a running back. Fitzmagic also has 9 interceptions in the last 2 weeks! The Jets don't plan on benching him but even if they did, you'd end up facing the awful Geno Smith which may be even better for you. Steelers have an unbelievably high ceiling this week.
Miami is home to the terrible Titans so all you have to do is wait for Marcus Mariota to do what he does best.
The Baltimore defense has been slightly better than last year. There are still some holes in the secondary that the Redskins may expose but the team is still a decent streaming option. They have a strong run defense that should force Kirk Cousins, who struggles on the road, to throw more and that should give the Ravens a chance to get an interception or two. The Ravens defense probably won't win you the week but you can feel safe knowing that you won't lose because of them either and that is good enough for a streamer.
Oakland is home to the struggling San Diego Chargers in week 5 and it sets up as a sneaky start. The Chargers gave up a lot of turnovers at home to the terrible Saints last week. This week the Chargers will come in to Oakland without many weapons left on offense. They also lost star corner Jason Verrett so that will make things a lot easier for Derek Carr to get an early lead and force the Chargers to play catchup. Then it is only a matter of time for the Raiders defense to get some sacks and force an interception and maybe a fumble.
If you really want to be ballsy this week then take a shot on the Niners. They are home to Drew Stanton and they serve as a high risk, high reward play. Stanton threw 2 interceptions last week against the Rams after Carson Palmer left late in the 4th quarter! The 49er defense is terrible and there is no doubt they are even worse with the loss of NaVorro Bowman but Stanton just isn't good. Play them at your own risk.
