5 QB Streamers (Week 7)

We've got it all this week. Revenge games. Politics. Tilting. Bad Quarterbacks.

Marcus Mariota

I don't think the Titans franchise QB is all that great but he has a nice matchup against a Colts defense that has made Brian Hoyer and Brock Osweiller look like studs. Mariota can definitely tear this horrible defense apart. He has the highest ceiling among the streamers this week but he has a low floor because it is possible they just ride Demarco Murray all game.

Alex Smith

Streaming the Chiefs Quarterback may be the death of me. There is nothing more tilting than watching Alex Smith play such a conservative offense. Last week he would've had a better day if the Raiders were able to score some points but it got out of hand quickly and Kansas City was content on riding the running game. This week the Chiefs face the Saints who are another great matchup for Smith as long as the Saints can keep the game relatively competitive.

Brian Hoyer

Since replacing Jay Cutler in the starting lineup for the Bears, we fantasy players have gotten a solid streamer and this week Hoyer is another solid streaming option. He faces the Packers on Thursday night after they have announced Sam Shields was placed on IR. The strength of the Green Bay defense is in stopping the run but their weakness is in the secondary, which sets Hoyer up for a good game.

Colin Kaepernick

The weakness of the Buccaneers defense is in their secondary which will force Kaep to throw a lot. The 49ers may also play without Carlos Hyde which will make it even more difficult for San Francisco to run the ball. I expect Kaepernick to throw a lot this week and he will have a high floor given his rushing ability. Colin Kaepernick is a fine streamer in week 7.

Sam Bradford

The revenge game! We want the revenge game! No one is really talking about Sam Bradford as a good streaming option this week and I understand why. The Vikings have a tremendous defense and they may just play an ultra conservative gameplan. Still, there is a lot of appeal in knowing that Bradford will be facing the team that traded him. The Eagles defense has also shown us that they're not as good as we thought so the idea of Bradford dismantling the Eagles team in Philadelphia would be one of the greatest stories of this season. You would need to have huge balls to start him.
